Vision College offers the FACTS payment plan that allows students to pay tuition and fees through one of two options:

1. Full Payment upfront – A personal check, debit or credit card payment will be accepted for the full amount of the term.

2. Credit Card – Visa or MasterCard is automatically debited on the 20^th of each month for the amount specified on the FACTS Agreement Form. If a payment is missed, it will be reattempted on the 5^th and a missed payment fee will be charged.

The FACTS Agreement is completed at the beginning of each year and a $45.00 non-refundable enrollment fee is automatically debited from the account on the form.

In general, a student who has unpaid financial obligations will not be permitted to register for subsequent quarters, attend classes, graduate, or order transcripts until such obligations have been satisfied.

Vision College reserves the right to deny enrollment or extension of credit to any student who does not meet past-due obligations or fulfill financial commitments to the college. Students with accounts past due by 30 days will be de-enrolled until they are able to make payment. Upon payment, a student may elect to return to class or follow the appropriate withdrawal procedures. Failure to make payments or other acceptable arrangements will be grounds for automatic dismissal from the college.

On occasion, legitimate financial circumstances may warrant special consideration. The following policy has been established regarding special permission to register for subsequent quarters. If a student wishes to appeal his/her withdrawal from classes due to past tuition balances, she/he may request an appointment with the College Business Officer to explain the circumstances causing the past due balance and a proposed repayment plan. The advisor will then present pertinent information regarding the case to the Financial Committee which will make a decision regarding any special arrangements.

Financial Assistance

Financial assistance may be available for specific situations. Students requesting aid will be put on a list to be examined by the Financial Committee regarding eligibility and will be notified of their acceptance status.

Refund Policy

The application fee paid by all prospective students applying for admission to Vision College will be non-refundable. If an applicant is denied admission, a full refund of other fees or charges paid will be made. Students accepted for admission who reconsider attending Vision College may also receive a full refund (less the application fee) by submitting a written request postmarked within six (6) business days from the date of the application.

Students are considered to be enrolled in courses for which they registered unless written notification has been made to the College. Failure to attend any of the scheduled classes of a course by the end of the fourth week will result in automatic withdrawal from that course, without refund.

Students may add and/or drop classes up until the published withdrawal date at which time tuition will be recalculated reflecting any new charges (when applicable).

Students withdrawing from a course may receive a refund on tuition according to the following schedule:

Fall, Winter, Spring Trimesters

• Before First Day of Classes .................................................................. 100%
• First Week of Session............................................................................80%
• Second Week of Session ......................................................................60%
• Third Week of Session .........................................................................40%
• Fourth Week of Session. ......................................................................20%
• After Fourth Week................................................................................None

The effective date for determining refunds will be the date that the College receives written notification of the student’s withdrawal from the course and/or the College. A student dismissed from the College may receive appropriate refunds based on the official date of dismissal.

Students may also petition the College for a pro-rated refund for special hardship cases. Pro-rated refunds, eg. Full-time students paying full year’s tuition will be determined on a case-by-case basis, subject to the approval of the College. The effective date for the refund will be the date the student’s written request is received by the College.

Refunds may be credited to a student’s account or mailed to the student within thirty (30) days. Students receiving financial assistance from the College or other source will be subject to the provisions of that assistance program, and in no case will a student receive a refund in excess of the amount paid by the student.
